In 2015, Christian Book Distributors realized it needed to expand their warehouse and distribution capabilities due to their continued growth. Working with architect Symmes Maini and McKee Associates, a 70,000 sf addition was designed to connect to their existing 300,000-square-foot headquarters. Dacon Corporation was awarded the project, due to their extensive experience in Centennial Park, and their experience with super flat surfaces and prefabricated wall panels.

CBD engaged Fraser Project Management to oversee their interests, allowing CBD to focus on and conduct their daily business during the construction process.

Technical challenges included minimizing disruption during the extensive site work, tie-in to existing facility, super-flat floors, and high bay storage. These challenges were met seamlessly, thanks to the project team’s experience and team spirit.

The project, completed in August, took 6 months to complete and came in under budget.
